HOT SHOTS COACHING

Hot Shots is a Tennis Australia coaching and playing program where kids progress through 4 stages: Blue, Red, Orange and Green.
Guided by Tennis Australia qualified CSOT coaches, students are encouraged to develop at their own pace, moving on to the next stage when they are ready.

Tennis Hot Shots includes coaching sessions and also our HOT SHOTS MATCH-PLAY competition and HOT SHOTS LEAGUE.

Junior Hot Shots Coaching

BLUE STAGE
An extensive starter program for children 3-5 years old. Here students will develop fundamental perceptual motor skills and build a strong foundation with all modified equipment.
  • Ages 3 - 5 years
  • Classes 30 minutes long​
  • Modified equipment to enhance learning 
  • All activities designed to keep younger kids engaged
RED STAGE
A beginner program for those who have graduated from the blue stage program or are first time starters in tennis. Provides a great foundation in technique and rallying skills while building on key motor skill development.
  • Ages 5 - 8 years.
  • Beginner program
  • Uses modified equipment to enhance learning (Red court)
  • Classes are based on individual needs
ORANGE STAGE
The orange stage classes are designed to be fun and engaging while working on technical and tactical areas in game based situations. 
  • Ages 8 and up
  • Advanced beginner to intermediate
  • Uses modified equipment to enhance learning (orange court)
  • Classes based on individual needs
GREEN STAGE
The green stage program is designed to continue to work on technical and tactical areas while using a full size court.
  • Ages 9 and up
  • Intermediate program
  • Uses modified equipment to enhance learning (Green court)
  • Classes based on the individual needs of each student

DEVELOPMENT SQUAD
Our green stage squad is aimed at young players who want to further their tennis competitively. A positive attitude and work ethic are essential.
  • Ages 9 and up
  • Establishes solid athletic foundation
  • Footwork and technique focus

HIGH PERFORMANCE SQUAD: 
High intensity training aimed at the serious tennis player who has begun to play tournament tennis and is of an intermediate-advanced standard.
  • Ages 11+
  • ​Full compression balls used
  • High level fitness and athletic focus
  • Advanced drills and supervised point-play
  • Goal setting and planning
ELITE SQUAD:
For the committed tournament player who will do what is required to take tennis as far as possible and is of advanced-elite level
  • Invitation only
  • Advanced drills and supervised point-play
  • Strategic planning
  • Specific fitness and tennis related goal setting
  • Includes online training journal
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons are uniquely tailored to the needs of the individual and are the fastest way to improve for the beginner through to the advanced player.

  • Catering to all ages and standards
  • Technical, physical, and psychological aspects covered as needed
